The first 'Australian Region' Burning Man gathering took place on the June long weekend 2009, from Friday 5th June to Monday 8th June.
At the Seed gathering, planning began for the first burn, on the June long weekend 2010, from Thursday 10th June to Monday 14th Friday .
The aim is to gather momentum to stage a full scale 'Australian Region' - Burning Man Event - in the Australian desert, or suitable outback region, in the not too distant future.
