The event depends entirely on the gift of your time, energy, and resources to make it happen. We are ALL volunteers from the Team Leaders to DPW to Theme Camps and campers. We all buy our tickets and donate our time before during and after the event. No matter what your skills or interests, there's a way for you to help create and manifestation our event. Planning happens year round. Building happens year round. We require bodies and time both onsite and off.
With that in mind, this year is going to be a new beginning with Burning Seed. An amazing new location, amazing theme camps, and LOTS to be built. We need you. We need you to help us help you. Volunteers are needed at the event to help build the man, build the city, greet, ranger, cook, and loads of all the little things that go unnoticed when your having a grooving time. We need people to help with Leave No Trace, so that there IS no clean-up, and we need people to shepphard our newbies into the way of the Burning Man community, take care of them and teach them our ways (insert evil laugh)
It's important to note that, unlike most mainstream festivals, volunteering for Burning Seed is not typically associated with any material reward or ticket; as a community-driven event operating in the spirit of the Ten Principles, volunteering is a form of participation, gifting and civic responsibility.
