About the Shanghai Regional Group
In the famed Asian Mega-City with over 20 million inhabitants our events brings and meet-ups cover a network of Burners from Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Ningbo. Shanghai burners are members of various playa theme camps. We make plans to meet-up with other China-based Burners on the Playa each year. In 2012 three Shanghai Burners camped together, possibly the earliest formation of a Shanghai Theme Camp. Together they visited the Chinese Speaker's Tea Party to meet the hosts from other regions such as Beijing.

Many Japanese have made the trip out to Black Rock City and brought great inspirations back home. The Japanese Regional Contact helps create the space for participatory art events in town that will celebrate our life away from playa. "Burninja" stands for "Burners in Japan", which refers to the community with all kinds of burners and fans happened to be or used to be in Japan. Please feel free to join MEETUP in Tokyo. We have tons of tips to travel long distance to Burning Man. Also, there are a few regional events started off including Burning Japan. About the Korean Regional Group
KOREA BURN is an official regional burn event of Burning Man.
KOREA BURN started in 2011 on Muuido Beach, near Incheon, in South Korea. With roughly 150 burners in attendance, people set up tents, played guitars and bongos while everyone participated in body painting, hair braiding, yoga, dancing, bar-tending, and fire-spinning!
Our goal is to bring the spirit and community of Burning Man in Nevada, USA, to South Korea, with all the love and creative expression of Black Rock City.

Welcome to the Singapore Burning Man regional.
Burning Man's 2016 theme is "Da Vinci's Workshop", celebrating the convergence of art, technical innovation, and philanthropy – some of the same qualities that make Singapore what it is today. We're excited to represent the Burning Man event in Singapore, the crossroads of Southeast Asian culture – a city of convergence.
While the Burner community is small in Singapore, we're growing rapidly and looking for new ways to bring Burning Man's culture to our island home.

Welcome to the Taiwan Burning Man regional.
Like everything else in Taiwan, the local burner community is transforming rapidly. More and more Taiwanese make the journey to the playa every year, and Burning Man 2006 saw the first ever Chinese Speakers Tea Party. 2014 saw the first Burning Taiwan event on Honeymoon Bay in Yilan, and 2015 saw the first ever Asia Burner Leadership Summit held in Taipei, featuring a visit from Burning Man Project founders Larry Harvey and Marian Goodell.
With more Taiwan regional projects coming to the playa every year, including the monumental Mazu Temple in 2015, and more Black Rock City magic weaving it's way back to Taiwan, La Ilha Formosa (the beautiful island) is emerging as one of the most dynamic spots on the burner globe.
